The Patient Journey Scorecard

Five stages, five yes-or-no questions each. It shows where patients quietly drift away between the first message and their next cleaning, so you know which stage to look at first.

Method

How to use it

  1. Sit down with whoever answers your phones and messages. Their view of the day is usually the most accurate one.
  2. Tick a line only if it is true today, every time. "Most of the time" or "we plan to" is a no.
  3. Your score per stage appears at the top and in the result at the end. The lowest stage is where to start.

There are no right answers to aim for. A low score in one stage is not a verdict on the practice. It shows where a small change will be felt most.

Your result

Priority0–2. The stage depends on goodwill and memory. Pick one unticked line and make it a routine with an owner this month.
Working3–4. The basics are in place but break on busy days. Write the routine down and make the reminders automatic.
Strong5. The stage runs on a system. Keep it, and check again in three months.

On the call we go through your five scores together and pick the one change worth making first. If it isn't useful, you won't hear from me again.
